
Your Piece of the "Wellness" Pie In an effort to keep us well-rounded and balanced in all areas of wellness, Programs has devised some new ways to help you ensure that you're getting the most out of activities here at The Willows. You will now see a colored piece (or pieces) of pie on each sign-up sheet, representing which dimension(s) of the wheel that particular activity is purposed for. We encourage you to be intentional about choosing how you will be involved: look for new opportunities to challenge an aspect of wellness that hasn't been a priority. Try a new fitness class! We are introducing Seated Yoga, Conductorcise and Brain Walking this month. Come along on an outing with the goal of connecting with someone new! Use programs like Creative Writing, Nimble Minds, Awakening Your Creativity or Trivia Night to think outside the box. Come to our Willows Weekly meetings on Tuesdays to share in community and have a voice in upcoming activities! As always, our staff members want to see you thrive, connect, grow, and continue to feel a sense of purpose in your daily life. Tai Chi for seniors with Lee Seaman Tuesdays at 2:00 Fitness Center

Many of you know Lee Seaman, who has been an active part of our fitness community for many years now. Lee's Life Exercise class is a gentle, modified tai chi class designed to decrease blood pressure, improve balance, regulate breathing and promote overall positive energy.

Stay in shape (or get in shape) with Tai Chi classes, daily stretch and strength classes as well as classes that emphasize balance and low impact aerobics. Join regularly organized walks at local parks, tracks and malls. Some of our opportunities include:
