The food is excellent and there are many exercise classes in addition to other activities. The staff and residents are awesome and very friendly. I’m very grateful that I chose the Willows as my home.

I've made so many new friends with whom to share meals and friendly games of bridge. There are so many diverse activities and programs that it's hard to decide what to do on any given day!

My mom, Peg moved to the Willows in June. She relocated here after 50 years in California.
At her age of 95, we wanted her close to us and in a safe, convenient environment. The Willows has surpassed all our expectations.
Getting her settled was no easy task. We really appreciate it that your whole staff has stepped up to help her. She needed help with her TV set up, her wifi, hanging her pictures, removing empty moving boxes, etc. All things that she struggles with. She never once felt like she was inconveniencing anyone. Your staff is top notch and offer friendly help with a smile whenever asked.
She needed help moving a mattress frame so a new one could be delivered. Not only did they move it for her, but they hauled it away so we didn't have to! I thought that was so nice. They go above and beyond for their residents.
All the transportation options made it a little less painful to give up her car. Peg has always been very independent and the Willows helps her maintain some independence. She uses your shuttles whenever it suits her, even tho we offer to drive her wherever she needs to go. The onsite amenities offer a lot for all the residents. Mom has been going to movies, musical presentations, exercise classes and the hair salon. She can get a pedicure or massage without leaving the building! Peg can be as busy as she wants to be or she can relax in her apartment, which she likes very much.
Peg found the right bridge players and plays A LOT. She plays online with her new best friend, Anita, every day. Once a week they go to a local church that offers their level of play. I take them to the church and her friends' daughter in law picks the up and takes them home. It's like arranging a play date for toddlers disguised as card sharks. Bridge has always been a big part of her life. She is now playing more bridge than she ever played in California!
My cousin's came to visit us from Indiana. They were able to stay at the Willows in the guest apartment to be closer to my mom! We appreciated that so much. It's an another unexpected amenity.
Peg insisted she have at least one bedroom and a full kitchen. Originally she wanted a two bedroom, but has realized the one bedroom is enough.
She likes having her kitchen, but has only cooked one meal since moving in to her apartment! One! She likes your food that much! She dines every night in the dining room with her new best friend. She is eating a much more nutritional and balanced diet. She likes the beautiful setting, the white linens and fresh flowers on the tables. We joined her for Thanksgiving in your dining room. It made her happy to 'host' her family. The food was great and I'm impressed with the server. Our server was so friendly and didn't miss a thing on our orders. There were six of us, with many different requests and everything was perfect.
I like your new entry! I like it that the Willows does more than just general maintenance. The dining room carpet and furniture is another really nice upgrade.
The maid service is adequate and makes her life easier. She doesn't have to vacuum, mop, clean a bathroom or change her sheets. And neither do I!
We like it that there are eyes on her. We like it that you check on her if she doesn't order a meal or dine in the dining room. I feel like she is safe.
Covid was going around right after she moved in to the Willows. I'm really impressed with how well your staff handled the outbreak. Delivering a hot meal to every resident every day must have been daunting, but your team rose to the challenge to keep everyone safe. Her meals were delivered on time and hot! Having test kits on site was brilliant, convenient and helpful.
When she first moved in, so many residents told her that she is going to love living at the Willows. And she does! Of course she would rather still be in her own home near her old friends and driving ( yikes), but this is the next best thing. She's making new friends that she enjoys. She's really trying to embrace her new community. I'm really proud of her.
The Willows is conveniently located. It's close to the freeway for easy access for us and close to many medical clinics and facilities for easy access for her.
We toured other similar facilities and Peg picked the Willows. We're really happy with her choice. The facility is really nice, but it's the exceptional people that make the Willows a great choice for mom.

The Willows is warm and welcoming. It's a community; it's home. The social life is rich, varied and often hilarious. The parties are the best, but peace and quiet are easy to find when you want them. The staff is superb, from high schoolers in their first jobs to seasoned pros who have worked here for several decades. I feel lucky to know these people. The programs are marvelous, from games, to exercise, to book clubs. It is easy to find friends with similar interests. I have lived here three years. Love the place.

I appreciate the attentiveness to Covid outbreaks and their ability to contain the danger. I appreciate the varied activities and outings to help keep the residents mentally and physically active. They keep those of us not living there informed through emails and the Whispering Willows about what’s going on and we never feel we’re in the dark about what’s happening. The Willows is a good place to live! They have many amazing programs such as fitness & dance classes, a knitting group, singing group, bird watching, opera and Anne’s music program! They also have concerts and a medical bus that can take us to and from our appointments. We have a wonderful housekeeping team and a fun resident mentor program for new incoming residents. The most recent bus trip we took was to the Orchid Society Plant show at Christianson’s Nursery and Breadfarm in Bow, WA. I got pastries and delicious homemade bread. There is so much that I love about the Willows and I could list so much more!

The Willows is like a sanctuary. Every walk down the hall is greeted with many kind and fun people. We can have dinner parties every night, if we want. There are entertainments every day. I have many new friends (replacing some I've lost). Our days are free of home-maintenance chores. Emergency care is on call 24/7. I am lucky to be able to have a nest in this community.
